Pilates is a strength and flexibility class which focuses on strengthening the core muscles of the abdomen and the muscles that stabilize the spine, while increasing flexibility in the legs and hips and back. It is excellent cross-training for dancers who wish to improve their balance and posture and develop more control. This class is also great for anyone who hasn't had dance training and would like to tone the abs, hips, and thighs with low-impact controlled exercises.
**Please bring a pilates/yoga mat with you to every class**
